Boulevard Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Boulevard’) is an evergreen conifer cultivar with soft, silvery-blue foliage. RHS records the cultivar; its mature size is not the measured height of the plant currently for sale. Ask the shop for the current specimen’s dimensions if size matters.

Grow it in full sun to partial shade with good airflow. Ordinary low indoor light is unsuitable for long-term growth. If kept indoors temporarily, choose the brightest available window and assess the actual light.

Water and growing medium

Use a draining pot and growing medium; keep the medium moderately moist without leaving it waterlogged. Check the mix before watering and adjust to the weather, pot and drying rate, rather than a fixed schedule or soil depth. RHS and NC State both describe moist but well-drained soil for this cultivar.
