Plant and care
This listing is for Aglaonema pictum ‘Tricolor’. Kew accepts the species name A. pictum; RHS describes the cultivated plant as an upright, slow-growing houseplant with camouflage-patterned foliage. Grow in bright, filtered light and well-drained, peat-free compost. Water according to the actual pot and growing medium, letting excess water drain; avoid a fixed calendar. Shelter from cold draughts and direct summer sun. Feed with suitable houseplant food during active spring and summer growth.
Safety: Harmful if eaten and may cause a skin allergy. Keep out of reach of children and pets; wear gloves when handling.
Size and availability: The existing option labels are approximate historic descriptions, not measured heights of today’s nursery stock. Confirm the chosen specimen’s current pot-to-top height, price and availability with Plantjai before relying on a pictured size.
Sources: RHS plant and cultivation record; Kew species record.
