Hoya manipurensis

Collectors who seek out the less-trodden corners of the Hoya genus find their way to Hoya manipurensis eventually — and usually stay. Named for Manipur in northeastern India, where it grows in the humid forests of the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot, this is a species that carries the quiet distinction of genuine rarity.
