We retain the nursery name for this product, but the identity of this particular plant has not been botanically confirmed. Kew accepts Hoya hypolasia as a species native to Papua New Guinea; that record does not identify this individual plant.
Placement and care
For hoyas generally, provide bright indirect light, warmth and airflow, away from hot summer sun and cold draughts. Use a pot with drainage and a free-draining, well-aerated mix. During active growth, check the compost before watering, water thoroughly and let excess drain. Reduce watering as growth slows; avoid both persistent waterlogging and drying the mix out completely. Leave old flower stalks in place, as hoyas may bloom from them again.
Pet safety has not been verified for this specific product, so keep pets from chewing it. Avoid skin contact with sap when pruning and wash hands afterwards.
