Part wax plant, part ghost — Hoya Carnosa ‘Nova Ghost’ earns its name with pale, almost translucent leaves edged in soft cream or blush pink that seem to glow in the right light. While most Hoyas already have a devoted fan base, the Nova Ghost stands apart: its ethereal variegation gives the classic carnosa a look that’s both subtle and genuinely striking.
Like all Hoyas, it rewards patience with incredibly fragrant, star-shaped flower clusters that smell faintly of chocolate and vanilla. Hang it, trail it, or let it climb — it looks gorgeous doing all three, and the fragrance alone is worth the wait.
