Epipremnum pinnatum albo-variegata
HK$780.00
Available to order
Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Albo-Variegata’ is what serious aroid collectors reach for when they have outgrown the standard pothos. While its cousin E. aureum gets all the mainstream attention, pinnatum rewards those who look closer: mature climbing specimens develop deep fenestrations — slits and perforations through each leaf — that give it an architectural drama the common pothos can only dream of. The albo-variegata form layers bright white sectoral variegation on top, making every leaf a genuinely one-of-a-kind composition.
Native to tropical Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, it grows as a vigorous climber in the wild, producing increasingly large and dramatic foliage as it scales upward. Give it a moss pole in cultivation and watch the leaf size increase with each new growth cycle. A rewarding long-term project for any plant enthusiast.

Care Guide
- Light: Bright, indirect light — essential to maintain the white variegation. Avoid deep shade, which causes reversion to plain green.
- Watering: Allow the top 2–3 cm of soil to dry before watering. Well-draining substrate is key.
- Humidity: 60–80% ideal. Higher humidity encourages faster growth and larger leaves.
- Temperature: 18–28°C. Protect from cold draughts and temperatures below 15°C.
- Support: Provide a moss pole or plank — leaf size and fenestration increase significantly as the plant climbs.
- Soil: Well-aerated aroid mix with chunky perlite and orchid bark.
