Hoya parasitica variegata — already known for its cascading, leathery leaves, the variegated form takes things to another level with bold cream-and-green patterning that makes each leaf look hand-painted.
Unlike many variegated plants that demand coddling, this Hoya is genuinely tough. Native to tropical Asia, it grows epiphytically on tree branches where it gets dappled light, good airflow, and irregular watering — conditions it will happily take in your home. The waxy star-shaped flowers that appear in clusters are a bonus: softly fragrant and almost too perfect to be real.
