原生於西非象牙海岸、加彭、奈及利亞一帶，愛心榕喺榕屬入面相對唔需要太多光照嘅品種，放喺室內光猛嘅位置就最適合，放室外嘅話最好要有遮陰或者要淋水淋密少少。如果擔心葉面追光唔好睇就記得得閑幫佢轉吓方向。生長快速所以有需要修剪都可以放膽大刀剪落去，香港嘅四季對愛心榕都唔太大問題，所以都算係新手村入面嘅植物。

一般室內都唔一定要擺到好近窗邊，例如客廳中間都唔會嚴重徒長。佢對水份需求比較高，如果放室外要記得換個大盆，如果唔係泥乾咗就好快燶葉。葉生得快，肥料按照包裝使用說明去用應該問題唔大，冬季停肥。

It grows rather fast during the growing season, so it’s okay to trim it from time to time. You shouldn’t experience much trouble with umbellata, so it’s a good choice for beginners.

We consider Ficus umbellata one of the larger indoor plants that can tolerate relative shade for a longer time. It doesn‘t necessarily have to be placed on window side in a typical indoor setting, for example, it doesn’t easily become leggy in the middle of your living room. It has a relatively high water requirement, so if you place it outdoors, remember to plant it with a larger pot, or else the soil will dry out quickly, causing sunburn on leaf. It could grow reasonably fast with adequate brightness, apply fertilizer as instructed from fertilizer packaging should not be a problem. It‘s advisable to stop fertilizing during the winter season.
