蘿藦亞科 Asclepiadoideae

曬得多會變古銅色唔係人類嘅專利，有啲毬蘭都做到咖。部分毬蘭品種如果受到過多光照，新生嘅葉就會有大量花色素苷，令到呢啲葉睇上去好似變咗紫紅色咁。呢啲花色素苷除咗幫到植物抵抗由紫外線引致嘅氧化，重可以同葉綠素互補，喺光譜上反射偏紅嘅光，等自己可以喺相對強光嘅環境生存。

Excessive sun exposure can result in a bronze tan, and it‘s not exclusive to humans, some Hoya species as well. When these Hoyas receive too much light, the newly grown leaves will contain a significant amount of anthocyanin pigments, causing these leaves to appear purplish-red. These anthocyanin pigments not only help plants resist oxidation caused by ultraviolet radiation but also complement chlorophyll. Together they reflect reddish and greenish light in the spectrum, allowing the plants to survive in relatively bright environments.
